The rivusTV video player is generally embedded in your own site. While some publishers are happy to syndicate their content to increase their online audience, other publishers drive traffic to their own website - or even host the video behind their own security systems.
rivusTV's third party secure authentication makes sure the video player will not work if its underlying code is 'cut and paste' onto another website. Before the video player connects to the video content, it makes a call to the hosting server asking for a unique authentication key. If the key is not present or incorrect, the video will not play. This ensures that your video is secure, and will play only where the correct authentication key is present.
In addition to our secure third party authentication, we also offer the ability to limit access to your videos based on the viewer's IP address. You are able to only allow viewers in the USA to watch your video - or only allow non-USA viewers to watch.
